The FOWS (Friends of Wilden School) comprise of parents and teachers working in partnership to provide opportunities for our children through fundraising and participation.
What do the FOWS do?
The FOWS organise and run fundraising events throughout the year. The money is used to enrich our children’s learning in the following ways:
- Raffles
- Christmas Parties
- Easter Egg Hunts
- Entertainers
- School Trips
- Resources
- Summer picnics
What could I expect if I joined the FOWS?
A warm welcome into a friendly and dedicated team, all working together to help secure a happy, safe and exciting learning environment for our children.
Meetings are usually held every half term at school although smaller sub-committees sometimes meet between main meetings. Dates and times of meeting are sent home by letters and placed on the Learning Platform.
